Work finally begins on Cybraphon as we start our microresidency down at the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop. Simon and Ziggy will be working there for a month on the first phase of the project: developing a self-playing farfisa organ.

Visit to Early Technology
On Saturday 29 November we took a trip to Old Craighall, near Musselburgh just outside Edinburgh on a reconnaissance mission for parts to build Cybraphon. We had received a tip-off from an Edinburgh junk shop owner that there was a man called Michael Bennett Levy who ran a business out there called Early Technology. Michael specialises in mechanical antiques and a quick look at his website was more than enough to persuade us to make the journey.
